  Joe Mayo treated my Father with disrespect along with myself. Didn't return phone calls. No contact. I also feel that he took advantage of my Father because of my father's state of mind. Joe Mayo might have sold the house cheap
  just to get his take. In my opinion, he priced it to low, so he could make a quick sell and make some cash.
  
  My family bought the house in 1970 In Surf City and I spent many summers there changing out renters for my Saturday's. But looking back, that was time I spent with my family.
  
  Until of the sale of the house, I always wanted to be Involved or relocate to LBI, but not anymore. I don't even like being at LBI anymore, because of the issues with the sale of the house due to the Realtor and the way I feel I was treated
  
  Joe Mayo,in my opinion, did a poor job selling my family's home.
  
  I can't and will not refer him to anyone selling or buying a property that he is involved in.

  There is a long history of Joe Mayo III and Joe Mayo IV helping out my family with real estate transactions. It goes beyond that for me; they are like family to me. It all started about 15 years ago when Joe Mayo III found a home for my mother to purchase in Barnegat that was well priced and he went to unbelievable lengths to get my family in that home at a time that me and my siblings were scattered amongst family and friends' places.
  
  Fast forward to 2009 and Joe Mayo IV helped me find my first home for myself. He found a bank owned property that needed lots of love but his vision for the property convinced me it was a great deal. We got it for about 60K below the market average and when the real estate market tanked, I was never inside out with the mortgage. I remember my mortgage broker was so impressed with Joe that he told me he was the best real estate agent he had ever done a deal with. It was tricky and he handled all the crazy twists of the deal. Since then he has coached me on how to convert it to a rental investment and he has helped keep it rented through Re-Max. Every time we are in between tenants there are always property management issues that arise and although that's not his job, he offers it up and gets it done.
  
  Joe is smart, hard-working, cares about his clients, knows how to negotiate, and he thinks like an investor and business man. I don't think there's a better skill set for what he does. There is no person I would trust more to handle real estate deals on Long Beach Island, Manahawkin, Barnegat, and surrounding towns.
